Role Overview

This position entails designing, developing, and maintaining efficient web applications that support PhillipCapital DIFC’s brokerage and wealth management platforms. The Full Stack Software Developer will leverage expertise in Angular and .NET Core to craft seamless front-end experiences coupled with reliable back-end architecture. Responsibilities span the full software lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment and optimization, collaborating extensively with product management, design, and QA teams to ensure delivery of robust and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create responsive and performant front-end apps using Angular (version 10 and above).
• Develop reusable UI components and modular services.
• Optimize app performance and user experience.
• Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs with .NET Core versions 5 to 8.
• Integrate back-end APIs with front-end and manage SQL Server databases through Entity Framework Core.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and IdentityServer frameworks.
• Deploy applications on cloud services such as Azure or AWS, and manage CI/CD pipelines and build automation.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to industry standards.
• Debug and resolve complex issues across the technology stack.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to architectural and technical planning discussions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end, communicating progress and trade-offs clearly.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of professional full-stack development experience with strong backgrounds in Angular (v10+) and .NET Core (5 through 8).
• Proven capability in deploying and maintaining scalable and high-capacity enterprise web applications.
• Solid understanding of REST API design, Microsoft SQL Server, and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with cloud deployments on Azure and/or AWS, along with automated CI/CD processes.
• Prior exposure to financial services, brokerage, or trading platform environments is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required; professional certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate are a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an engineering mindset emphasizing clean code, thorough testing, proper documentation, and secure programming principles.
• Self-driven with the ability to deliver complete features within agile timelines.
• Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
