Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and optimize AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and various enterprise AI services such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Azure Document Intelligence, AI Search, vector databases, and intelligent automation platforms. This individual will build production-ready AI applications, implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, integrate AI technologies into business processes, enforce security and governance protocols, and drive innovation by leveraging emerging AI capabilities. Collaboration with product, engineering, business, and data teams is essential to deliver scalable, secure, and impactful AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and generative AI applications using platforms like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Google Gemini.
• Create RAG-based solutions incorporating vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge management tools.
• Build AI agents, copilots, chatbots, and automate workflows to streamline operations.
• Develop prompt engineering frameworks, evaluation systems, and AI orchestration pipelines to enhance model reliability and performance.
• Build APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures for enterprise AI deployments.
• Develop intelligent document processing solutions utilizing Azure Document Intelligence and OCR technologies for extracting and structuring data from diverse documents.
• Integrate AI services such as speech recognition, computer vision, language understanding, translation, and content moderation into business applications.
• Design data pipelines supporting AI training, retrieval, and analytics ensuring high data quality and robust validation.
• Architect scalable AI solutions on Azure and multi-cloud platforms while implementing AI security, governance, compliance, and privacy policies.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring of model performance including cost optimization, latency reduction, hallucination minimization, and solution stability.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and employ MLOps/LLMOps strategies for streamlined deployment, automation, and observability.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, conduct proofs-of-concept, pilots, and lead production implementations.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in Generative AI, multimodal AI, AI agents, and LLM technologies.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in software, cloud, data engineering, or AI development with at least 2 years focused on AI/Generative AI projects.
• Track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, or data-driven solutions.
• Experience working with foundation models and platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude.
• Proficient in Azure Document Intelligence, OCR, and intelligent document processing capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, vector databases like Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB, and semantic search functionality.
• Strong programming skills with Python, REST APIs, and cloud-native application development.
• Experienced with Azure cloud services including Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, Functions, App Services, Container Apps, Kubernetes, Storage, and Key Vault.
• Familiarity with ML/LLM frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.
• Knowledgeable in DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps practices, including use of GitHub, CI/CD workflows, monitoring tools, and cloud security.
• Understanding of Responsible AI concepts, model evaluation techniques, governance, privacy requirements, and compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.

• Knowledge retrieval and semantic search using Azure AI Search or vector databases.
• Azure Document Intelligence and OCR implementation expertise.
• Cloud services: Azure AI Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, Container Apps, Azure Functions, App Services.
• DevOps and MLOps competencies including GitHub, CI/CD pipeline automation, monitoring, security compliance.
• Responsible AI practices, governance, and model evaluation frameworks.
• Additional skills in advanced agentic AI orchestration and multimodal AI are advantageous.
