Role Overview
The Food & Beverage Supervisor will manage the daily operations of the hotel's outlets including restaurants, bars, cafés, or banquet services. This role focuses on ensuring top-quality guest service, maintaining operational standards, leading and developing the F&B team, and supporting the achievement of financial and operational goals set by the Restaurant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily functioning of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel premises.
- Lead, encourage, and provide guidance to the service team to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Uphold company standards related to service, hygiene, health, and safety rules strictly.
- Organize pre-shift briefings and delegate appropriate responsibilities to team members.
- Evaluate staff performance regularly and deliver coaching, training, and constructive feedback.
- Address and resolve guest complaints swiftly and professionally to maintain satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to guarantee prompt and accurate delivery of orders.
- Manage table turnover rates, booking schedules, and seating plans to optimize efficiency.
- Support inventory management including requisitions and minimizing waste.
- Ensure completion of all opening and closing procedures accurately and on time.
- Oversee cash handling, billing, and point-of-sale processes in adherence to company policies.
- Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and enhancing team productivity.
- Maintain outlet cleanliness, oversee equipment upkeep, and adhere to sanitation standards.
- Contribute to meeting sales targets, promote upselling strategies, and control costs effectively.
- Compile operational reports and escalate any issues to the Restaurant Manager promptly.
Qualifications
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related fields is favored.
- Possess 2 to 4 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience within hotel environments, fine or casual dining, or luxury hospitality sectors is preferred.
