Facilities Cleaner

About the Role

Techrete, a leading expert in architectural precast concrete solutions servicing major projects across Ireland and the UK, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Cleaner for our Balbriggan, Co. Dublin facility located at Stephenstown Industrial Park. This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, and other specified office spaces.
• Sanitize and clean toilets, changing rooms, and welfare areas.
• Ensure hygiene standards in the staff canteen and kitchen.
• Clean communal spaces including corridors, entrances, stairs, and break rooms.
• Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Dust and wipe desks, furniture, windowsills, and designated surfaces.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces like door handles and handrails.
• Empty bins and properly dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Replenish hygiene supplies including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and inform when replenishment is necessary.
• Conduct scheduled deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the working day in all welfare areas.
• Safely handle and store cleaning equipment and products, adhering to relevant safety procedures.
• Use appropriate signage during cleaning activities to ensure safety.
• Report any maintenance or health and safety concerns promptly.
• Complete cleaning schedules and checklists accurately.
• Undertake other cleaning duties to uphold high standards in the facility.

Experience and Knowledge

• Prior experience in commercial, office, or facility cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience cleaning canteens, kitchens, toilets, or welfare facilities is a plus.
• Basic understanding of hygiene standards and safe handling of cleaning chemicals is desirable.
