About the Company

Pencil operates an AI-powered advertising platform integrating every major AI model to streamline creative and marketing teams' workflow from brief to finished asset. Our mission is to embed AI as a standard in advertising without replacing creative talent, servicing enterprise clients like L'Oréal, Unilever, Bayer, and Diageo with strong legal, security, and procurement compliance.

Backed by The Brandtech Group, a $4 billion marketing technology firm that owns Oliver and Jellyfish, we have the scale to serve the globe's largest advertisers.

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Sales Development Representative passionate about AI to fuel growth in our enterprise and mid-market segments. You will identify and qualify leads, build sales pipelines, and arrange meetings and product demos, targeting deals starting from $25,000 annual contract value. You will play a vital role in growing Pencil's client base by executing proven sales development processes.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads by identifying and engaging potential clients aligned with provided Ideal Customer Profiles, focusing primarily on UK and US markets, but covering global opportunities.
  • Maintain engagement and nurture prospects through tailored outreach sequences to keep leads interested until ready to purchase.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams ensuring leads meet qualification criteria (BANT framework) and optimize account engagement strategies.
  • Utilize prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lusha, and manage lead tracking in Salesforce.
  • Meet monthly quotas for qualified leads, earning commissions for qualified leads and additional commissions on closed deals.

Requirements

  • At least one year outbound sales development experience targeting enterprise accounts, adept at navigating large organizations and engaging senior buyers.
  • Background or strong interest in SaaS, technology sales, martech, or creative production, with the ability to quickly understand marketing, procurement, and brand leadership language.
  • Excellent communicator with capability to clearly explain complex concepts both verbally and in writing.
  • Disciplined and persistent in outbound sales efforts via phone, email, and LinkedIn, treating pipeline building as both a craft and a numbers game.
  • Comfort with a dynamic, fast-changing environment and willingness to contribute to evolving sales methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce and modern sales prospecting tools.

Benefits

  • 25 days paid time off plus public holidays.
  • Remote-first working model with offices available in The Shard, London, and New York, or flexibility to work anywhere within your home country.
  • Health insurance and private medical coverage.
  • Monthly allowance for wellness, fitness, and professional development.
  • Enhanced parental leave inclusive of birth, adoption, or surrogacy.
  • Flexible working hours to support work-life balance.
