Role Overview
As the MENA Education Consultant for BOOKR Class, based in Dubai, you will be responsible for expanding BOOKR's commercial presence throughout the MENA region. This will involve direct sales efforts targeting educational institutions such as private and international schools, nurseries, language centres, and corporate buyers. You will also manage and grow a high-performing network of distributors. Reporting to the Regional Head of Sales, you will oversee the sales pipeline using HubSpot and work towards achieving annual recurring revenue (ARR) and adoption goals within your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business with a diverse set of educational institutions including British, American, IB, Indian, and other curriculum-based schools, as well as language centres and corporate clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations both on-site and virtually, prepare proposals, and lead contract negotiation processes.
- Maintain accurate and updated deal, contact, and activity data within HubSpot and provide weekly sales forecasts and performance metrics to the Head of Sales.
- Enable distributor and reseller sales teams by delivering training on product value propositions, demonstration protocols, and effective handling of customer objections.
- Monitor joint business plans with partners and manage co-marketing fund activities.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, including tracking competitors, pricing trends, and changes in curriculum and regulatory frameworks across MENA, particularly with UAE federal bodies like the Ministry of Education and emirate-level regulators such as KHDA, ADEK, and SPEA.
- Convey these insights to the Product and Go-to-Market teams to inform strategy and development.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of three years of proven success meeting sales quotas within the EdTech or SaaS sectors across the UAE or broader MENA, encompassing direct enterprise and channel sales.
- Fluency in English is essential while professional proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
- Comfortable presenting to key stakeholders such as school principals, education group leadership, regulatory officials, and reseller executives.
- An established professional network within GCC school groups and education distributors would be a valuable asset.
- Proficient user of HubSpot CRM and comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with outreach and automation tools is an added benefit.
- Educational background includes a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Education, or related disciplines.
