Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar activities ensuring smooth service, consistent presentation, and adherence to brand standards.
• Lead and inspire the bar team to provide excellent customer service while maintaining high team morale and performance.
• Craft an engaging and inviting bar environment, promptly addressing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally.
• Control beverage inventory through ordering, stocktaking, and minimizing wastage while managing associated costs.
• Increase beverage sales by promoting upselling techniques, special offers, and innovative menu options, tracking revenue against targets.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and other drinks, supporting team education on beverage expertise and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service laws, liquor licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and hotel policies.
• Collaborate with food and beverage, kitchen, events, and other hotel departments for coordinated service delivery.
• Maintain all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness procedures within the bar area and related services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold at least 12 months of full Australian work authorization (sponsorship unavailable).
• Reside within the Perth metropolitan region or be willing to relocate.
• Previous leadership experience as a Food & Beverage or Bar Manager, or comparable senior role in hospitality.
• Experience managing bar operations in a premium hotel or similar hospitality environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated hands-on leadership with capability to develop, motivate, and coach a high-performing team.
• Proven commercial and financial skills including budget management, payroll, labor cost control, and revenue monitoring.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences and elevating service quality.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills, able to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Creativity and passion for food and beverage innovation.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
