Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Perform various assembly tasks to build semi-finished or final products, systems, or panels, including packing aligned with production lines.
- Execute manual assembly tasks or utilize light hand tools effectively.
- Conduct scheduled quality checks as part of established production protocols.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a tidy workspace.
- Demonstrate the capability to work proficiently in two distinct assembly stations within 18 months.
- Understand and follow verbal and written technical instructions presented in English.
- Read and interpret prints, factory orders, routings, and other production-related documents both physically and electronically.
- Operate safely within an industrial manufacturing environment, including adherence to shift schedules as required.
- Maintain punctuality and attendance in line with company standards.
- Utilize overhead cranes or hoists proficiently.
- Apply appropriate measuring instruments and gauges accurately.
- Use basic mathematics skills to measure in fractional inches.
- Achieve quality and productivity goals consistently.
- Adhere to lockout/tagout and other safety protocols.
- Conform to internal policies and procedures, assist with housekeeping, share knowledge with colleagues, and undertake other tasks as assigned.
Physical Demands
- Lift up to 50 lbs close to the body and 35 lbs away from the body for 60% of work time.
- Assist with lifting over 50 lbs for 40% of the time.
- Use company-provided personal protective equipment willingly.
- Have necessary corrected vision to read instructions, prints, and gauges.
- Perform frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting (both assisted and unassisted).
- Stand for prolonged intervals and function in typical factory conditions including concrete floors, temperature variations, noise, and allergens.
- The role involves repetitive physical activities.
Education and Skills Requirements
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and have fundamental computer skills as defined by the company.
