Role Overview
The Assembly Table Assistant plays a vital part in supporting production by assembling materials and components per work orders and guidelines. This role requires carrying out repetitive tasks efficiently, accurately, and safely in coordination with a team in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Duties
- Assist in assembling parts and materials following specific work instructions and standards
- Take direction from supervisors or team leaders to aid production workflows
- Perform repetitive assembly operations using hand tools and equipment
- Position, align, and fasten materials according to required specifications
- Operate basic machinery or equipment as trained and required
- Inspect assembled work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Keep workspaces orderly, clean, and safe
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill production targets and meet deadlines
- Carry out other tasks as assigned
Candidate Profile
- Capability to follow detailed instructions and established protocols
- Strong focus on detail and dedication to quality workmanship
- Effective team player with good interpersonal skills
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools
- Demonstrated reliability and solid work ethic
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production settings preferred
- Comfortable working with basic tools and equipment
- Physical stamina to stand for long durations and repeat tasks
- Able to lift and handle materials as necessary
- Able to work in environments involving machinery noise, dust, and variable conditions
- Willingness to work extended hours as production demands
