About the Role
As an Area Manager at Flipkart Internet Pvt Ltd based in Nagercoil, you will lead comprehensive Last Mile delivery operations to ensure flawless execution across regional hubs. This position demands a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence, cost effectiveness, and strong team performance within a dynamic e-commerce logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise entire Last Mile operations to achieve 100% pickup completions and maintain accuracy in bag closures at designated hubs.
- Manage relationships with transport vendors and delivery partners, oversee daily operational metrics, and optimize the use of logistics vehicles.
- Analyze and review performance indicators such as Pickup Turnaround Time (TAT), Queue Time, and manage incident exceptions effectively.
- Collaborate with Central Operations and Planning teams to implement cost-saving measures, manpower allocation, and refine operational processes.
- Maintain strict compliance with all safety standards, proper documentation, and regulatory audits.
- Guide and motivate a large regional team to build a resilient, high-performing operational workforce.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working in logistics, supply chain management, or e-commerce operations with proven leadership skills.
- A minimum educational qualification of a bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related disciplines; MBA qualification is an advantage.
- Strong leadership capabilities in managing large teams and handling complex operational challenges under fast-paced conditions.
- Proficiency in data analysis for enabling informed decision-making and continuous process enhancement.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and resolve operational issues efficiently.
