About the Internship
This internship involves identifying businesses that are currently overspending on SaaS subscriptions and scheduling meetings with their key decision-makers. You will not be responsible for cold calling or closing sales; these tasks are handled by the sales team. Your role is to discover the appropriate contacts, initiate engagement, and secure calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential client companies using platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Maps, industry directories, job boards, and social media. Look for indicators like team size, SaaS tools in use, relevant job postings, and founder activity to determine prospects.
- Craft and send customized outreach messages across LinkedIn (connection requests and follow-ups), cold emails, and X (Twitter) direct messages, tailoring communication to reference the software tools the companies actually utilize and explaining the relevance of our service.
- Qualify inbound leads from Meta advertisements and WhatsApp by gathering critical information about tool usage, team size, and monthly expenditure, and funnel qualified leads to the sales team.
- Schedule discovery calls and demo sessions on the sales team's calendar; success is measured by the number of qualified meetings booked weekly, not by quantity of messages sent.
- Maintain and update the CRM system (GoHighLevel) with lead statuses, conversation notes, and follow-up timing to ensure an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline.
- Conduct detailed market research to create segmented lists of companies within targeted verticals such as real estate brokerages in Dubai, marketing agencies in Bangalore, and accounting firms in the UK, using various free and paid tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Google Maps.
Who Should Apply
- Applicants must have strong English writing skills and be able to create LinkedIn messages that are personalized and avoid appearing as spam.
- Must be capable of quickly analyzing company websites and LinkedIn profiles to assess fit and tailor communications accordingly.
- Comfortable initiating contact with unfamiliar people online and handling rejection positively, understanding that most outreach efforts typically receive low response rates.
- Highly organized, able to manage and follow-up on 50-100 ongoing conversations across multiple channels without losing track.
- Additional advantages include prior experience with LinkedIn outreach, familiarity with CRM tools, or understanding of basic B2B sales processes.
