About the internship
This internship is for an Electronics & Systems Engineering Intern to support UAV avionics, onboard electronics, communication subsystems, and flight controller integration. The role offers practical exposure to building end-to-end drone electronics architectures.
What you will work on
- Choosing UAV electronic hardware such as flight controllers, onboard computers, ESCs, motors, GPS units, telemetry modules, RC systems, and sensors
- Setting up and integrating ArduPilot-based systems
- Working with communication standards and interfaces including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and MAVLink
- Integrating RF communication and telemetry solutions
- Testing avionics modules and troubleshooting issues
- Supporting power distribution planning and wiring layout
- Assisting with hardware assembly and flight trials
- Keeping electronics records and system diagrams up to date

Additional requirements
- Working knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN
- Exposure to ArduPilot
- Prior experience building drones
- Hands-on experience with Pixhawk or CubePilot platforms
