About the Role
This role is focused on developing VLSI systems by defining functionalities, architecture, layout, and implementation tailored to client requirements. The position emphasizes verification of module/IP functionality, documentation, and client support in alignment with project plans and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop verification environments and plans based on Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) after understanding module/IP architectures.
- Create test benches and code test cases for one or multiple modules, write or review code as needed.
- Execute test cases, debug issues, and perform functional coverage analysis; record results including failures and debugging procedures on platforms such as SharePoint or JIRA.
- Conduct regression testing for the entire IP functionality and finalize documentation for client release.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to ensure timely delivery with minimal latency and optimal efficiency.
- Develop scripts for the IP and adhere to project plans and industry standards throughout the process.
- Prepare regular reports including weekly and monthly status updates for clients, maintain comprehensive documentation of design changes and recommendations.
- Maintain timesheets and provide written knowledge transfers detailing project history.
Performance Metrics
- Verification: Timeliness, code quality, defect count, client responsiveness, and quality of project documentation such as scripts and test cases.
- Self-Development: Skill assessment for progression to next level using internal testing systems.
Requirements
- Experience ranging from 3 to 5 years in VLSI board design and verification.
