Role Overview
As a Store Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of an individual Panda Express store. Your responsibilities encompass hiring, managing, and guiding team members to accomplish financial targets and ensure excellent customer service experiences. You will play a central role in driving the success of your store.
Training
To prepare you for this position, we provide a comprehensive paid leadership training program lasting eight weeks or longer, offering mentorship and ongoing support from the Panda community.

Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to relocate within a 50-mile radius of your residence if required
- Availability to work diverse schedules including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by business demands
- Valid Serve Safe certification in food safety
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The workplace involves standing for extended periods in hot and sometimes noisy environments. Tasks include preparing hot and cold foods, safely handling kitchen equipment such as Chinese cook knives, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You must have strong verbal communication skills, adaptability to fast-changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflict and difficult situations effectively.
