Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using .NET Core 8, ensuring seamless integration across components.
• Enhance database operations by optimizing queries and designing effective data models in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
• Engage in architecture and system design dialogues to support the scalability and maintenance of services.
• Review peers' code to uphold quality standards, offering constructive feedback.
• Refactor existing codebases to improve efficiency and clarity.
• Create extensive unit and integration tests to guarantee robust backend performance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in both development and production setups.
• Document technical choices and system workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Support production rollout processes, confirming system stability post-deployment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 7 years in backend software engineering, with at least 5 years of focused experience in .NET Core development.
• Strong expertise in building RESTful APIs and gRPC services prioritizing scalability and maintenance.
• Proficient in both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) database technologies.
• Experience integrating message brokers like RabbitMQ and understanding of asynchronous workflows and distributed systems.
• In-depth knowledge of software design patterns including Singleton, Factory, and Strategy.
• Proven capability in code refactoring to enhance structure without compromising functionality.
• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and performance testing methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced troubleshooting skills for performance bottlenecks, including memory leak detection using profiling utilities.
• Leadership experience handling sizable projects aligned with technical and business targets.
• Mentorship experience to nurture junior developers and foster team growth.
• Familiarity with load testing and tuning application performance.
• Active participation in solution-focused technical discussions.
• Proficiency in using visual collaboration and diagramming tools such as Miro.
