Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure all quality standards are met throughout the organization. This role involves identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives through thorough data analysis, inspections, and testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize initiatives to enhance quality performance using data-driven insights.
• Apply continuous improvement techniques to investigate deviations, ascertain root causes, define corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
• Gather and analyze extensive datasets from diverse platforms to detect relevant trends and patterns.
• Assist the Quality Manager in setting measurable quality performance targets.
• Conduct in-process and product inspections; utilize tests, sampling, and other validation methods to verify compliance with requirements.
• Maintain and update quality documentation in accordance with procedural standards.
• Disseminate knowledge on quality methodologies and tools, fostering organizational capability aligned with quality procedures.
• Support the Quality Manager during internal and external audit activities.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective actions within designated Quality Improvement teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in the Elevators and Escalators industry, demonstrating a successful track record in a related quality role.
• Recommended to hold ISO 9001 Quality Certification.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality assurance principles, terminology, and tools.
• Advanced computer skills with experience in database management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Familiarity with best practices in testing, version control, and defect management.
• Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) are desirable.
• Proficient in standard office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
