Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Python Developer with over 5 years of experience to join our Dubai-based team. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional grasp of Python programming and system architecture, focusing on creating and sustaining high-performance microservices. These microservices rely heavily on thorough data validation, strong typing, and explicitly defined data schemas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop complex Python applications by translating intricate coding and business processes into clean, modular, and maintainable software.
• Design robust and efficient application logic that leverages Python's language capabilities, prioritizes readability, and applies effective design patterns to enhance performance.
• Refactor existing backend services to reduce technical debt and maintain streamlined internal APIs.
• Enforce strict runtime type checking and data validation using strong typing principles, particularly using Pydantic for rigorous input and output validation across service boundaries.
• Maintain detailed type annotations to facilitate developer efficiency, improve code completion, and enable early detection of errors.
• Construct, deploy, and manage isolated microservices architectures where inter-service communication is governed by well-defined schemas and types.
• Oversee and optimize applications operating on on-premises infrastructure, focusing on resource management, networking, and local system limitations.
• Optionally, integrate message queuing tools like Redis to support asynchronous tasks and event-driven processes, ensuring reliable message delivery and robust error handling in distributed microservices environments.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced Python expertise, including an in-depth understanding of language internals, idioms, and structural design principles.
• Extensive experience with Python typing modules and practical usage of Pydantic for data validation in production environments.
• A strong track record in architecting and deploying microservices that rely on explicit data schemas.
• Familiarity with deploying and managing software on on-premises servers along with knowledge of hardware-level constraints and networking considerations.
• Demonstrable ability to take ownership of challenges and consistently deliver valuable outcomes.
