Proposal Specialist

Overview

Insight Global is recruiting a Pursuit Specialist to join a prominent engineering and consulting firm in a full-time capacity. This newly established position supports continued expansion by centralizing opportunity identification, proposal facilitation, and pursuit coordination throughout the organization.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities by actively tracking bid portals and organizing qualification discussions.
• Develop reusable proposal content to streamline and enhance the quality of submissions.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across different departments to align pursuit activities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in proposal coordination, pursuit management, business development support, marketing, or related areas.
• Prior work experience within engineering consulting, professional services, architecture, environmental consulting, or similar consulting environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational capabilities to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships among internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity supporting RFP, RFQ, RFI, and proposal submissions.
• Experience in marketing, communications, business development, pursuit coordination, or proposal management roles.
• Knowledge of bid and tender tracking platforms and procurement portals.
• Experience creating content libraries, proposal repositories, or managing knowledge systems.
• Ability to assess opportunities with strategic and commercial insights.

Compensation

Annual salary ranging from 70000 to 100000 CAD, plus benefits, depending on experience, skills, and education.
