About the Role
Join Parsons Corporation as a Project Controls Manager and lead a skilled team managing all phases of critical projects. Parsons fosters a culture driven by leadership that values individuals, agility, and growth, encouraging innovation and helping you realize your potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and review contractor schedules ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with contractors to design delivery, recovery, and mitigation plans.
- Create detailed project schedules including resource and cost allocation at the activity level.
- Coordinate with Project and Engineering Managers to maintain comprehensive deliverable lists for each design project.
- Implement a progress measurement system based on deliverables and work with team leads to keep it updated regularly.
- Employ Earned Value Management methods to assess schedule and cost performance metrics.
- Update weekly Earned Value Analysis dashboards at both project and sector levels.
- Support construction by reviewing and evaluating contractors’ schedules, monitoring progress relative to approved plans, and reporting to Project Managers.
- Prepare weekly or monthly progress reports summarizing construction project statuses.
- Assist proposal teams by developing schedules for new project bids.
- Participate in internal and external meetings to present and discuss scheduling and progress matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- At least 10 years’ experience in planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 software.
- Experience specifically in entertainment or leisure project environments.
- Strong background in applying Earned Value Management for performance tracking and reporting.
- Proficient written and spoken English with effective communication skills for liaising with colleagues and management.
Preferred Skills
- Capability to represent the company during client meetings and presentations with professionalism.
- Advanced computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office tools like Excel for managing complex spreadsheets.
- Proven managerial abilities and comprehensive understanding of industry best practices.
