About the Role
Our client, a major company in the Asia-Pacific region, is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the end-to-end creation and maintenance of sophisticated web applications. This role demands ownership across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure components.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the entire application lifecycle from design through deployment, integrating frontend, backend, and cloud services.
- Architect, build, and sustain responsive, accessible, and performant web applications employing modern frontend frameworks with a focus on reusability, scalability, and security.
- Develop dependable, secure, and observable backend services and APIs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years in full stack software development.
- Proficient in AWS cloud services, especially serverless technologies such as ECS Fargate containers, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS PostgreSQL, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with frontend development using React and Node.js.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, particularly with GitLab.
- Experience working with modern full-stack web technologies including JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Skilled in frontend frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Vue.js and backend technologies like Node.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
- Strong expertise in database design and management, including SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS S3, Athena, and similar technologies.
