Banking Technical Analyst

Overview

Systems Limited – Middle East & Africa (Techvista) seeks a seasoned Technical Analyst specialized in Corporate Banking to serve as the critical link between business needs and technology solutions related to corporate banking projects. This position demands extensive domain knowledge, strong analytical skills, and close collaboration with business stakeholders, operational teams, IT vendors, and development units.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, assess, and document business, functional, and technical requirements comprehensively.
• Engage closely with Corporate Banking stakeholders to fully grasp business operations, banking products, and compliance demands.
• Create detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), user stories, process diagrams, and solution design documents.
• Serve as an intermediary among business users, technology vendors, and software development teams.
• Support phases including solution architecture, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
• Examine data, APIs, interfacing components, and system interdependencies to facilitate effective technical solutions.
• Ensure developed solutions adhere to bank policies, regulatory standards, and cybersecurity requirements.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Between 6 and 7 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Techno-Functional Analyst specifically within the Banking industry.
• Deep expertise and understanding of Corporate Banking sector and associated services.
• Hands-on experience with Corporate Banking products such as Account Onboarding, Payments, and Corporate Internet Banking systems.
• Proficient in eliciting requirements, designing process models, and producing detailed functional and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with digital banking platforms, core banking infrastructure, APIs, and multi-system integration initiatives.
• Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall project delivery frameworks.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent fields.
• Certifications such as CBAP, Agile, or Scrum are considered beneficial.
• Preference given to candidates with prior engagement in Middle Eastern banking institutions.
