About the Role
This internship offers hands-on experience in business development focusing on forging partnerships in the textile recycling sector. Interns will engage with diverse organizations such as schools, corporates, and housing societies to promote sustainable textile collection initiatives aligned with circular economy principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential partners including schools, corporates, housing societies, hospitals, and hotels.
- Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and personal visits to organizations.
- Communicate and explain ReCircle's textile collection programmes to prospective partners.
- Consistently follow up with leads and work to convert them into active partners.
- Support the planning and execution of textile collection drives.
- Assist with field visits and other on-ground activities.
- Maintain and regularly update the outreach progress tracking system.
- Provide daily assistance to the Partnerships Manager in various tasks.
Candidate Eligibility and Preferences
- Open to final-year college students (third year) or recent graduates from any academic discipline.
- Applicants must be available to work full-time in-office in Mumbai for a period of six months, starting between September 2 and October 7, 2026.
- Preferred candidates are those with at least one previous internship experience.
- Must be comfortable engaging in cold calls, field visits, and local travel.
- Applicants should be confident and at ease communicating with new people.
- Willingness to work six days per week is required.
- Genuine interest in sustainability, social impact, partnerships, and textile recycling is highly desirable.
