Overview
This internship opportunity at Property First involves creating a mobile application from the ground up using Android technologies. The company is a reputed real estate consulting firm with a presence in several cities including Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai, specializing in high-end real estate marketing and offering clients expert advice and favorable deals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and design a mobile application adhering to business needs.
- Build, test, and deploy high-quality Android apps.
- Integrate external systems and databases such as REST APIs, Firebase, and SQLite/MySQL.
- Write scalable and maintainable code following best industry practices.
- Perform unit tests, debugging, and improve application performance.
- Create technical documentation and manage source control using Git.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure application readiness for production deployment with a focus on quality standards.
Technical Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and Python.
- Experience writing test scripts and application testing methodologies.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and architectural patterns.
- Familiarity with REST API integration, JSON data format, Firebase services, and version control with Git.
- Knowledge of app deployment processes on Google Play and Apple App Store is advantageous.
Candidate Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Demonstrable experience in mobile app development with at least one published application on Google Play or Apple App Store.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with capability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Firebase, cloud services, or AI integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience using version control platforms like GitHub.
