Job Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional service delivery by addressing client requests and concerns promptly, seeking innovative solutions when issues arise, and maintaining proactive communication with customers.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before parking, carefully noting any observations.
- Clearly explain valet service rates to customers.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
- Report any accidents, safety concerns, unusual events, or policy breaches to management immediately.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and highways to facilitate smooth transportation for clients.
- Arrive punctually for all shifts dressed in a clean, complete uniform and remain so throughout the entire shift.
- Assist management with any additional assignments as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a current address and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is an advantageous consideration.
- Flexibility to work special shifts including second and third shifts, as well as weekends.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States must be provided if hired.
- Deliver accurate information to customers and colleagues and professionally handle complaints or issues.
- Competency in reading, writing, basic arithmetic involving US currency, and understanding instructions, brief emails, and memos.
- Adapt smoothly to changes, delays, and unexpected circumstances while following verbal and written directions calmly.
Physical Requirements
The role typically requires standing, walking, and using hands to handle cash and equipment. Occasional sitting and climbing or balancing are needed. Employees may need to occasionally lift or move weights up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a base pay of $21.91 per hour, plus eligibility to receive tips. Employees meeting eligibility criteria may also access benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, long and short-term disability coverage, life and accident insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, and paid time off.
