Role Overview

We are seeking an Ads Solutions Engineer to support advertisers and agencies throughout all stages of pre-sales and growth. This role involves guiding clients to effectively evaluate, implement, and scale their activities on OpenAI's advertising platform. You will act as the technical authority during sales, translating client goals into robust technical implementations covering measurement, integrations, data activation, and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Client Partners during the sales process to provide vital technical expertise that facilitates new business opportunities and expedites deal closures.
• Conduct in-depth technical assessments with advertisers and agencies to analyze data flows, marketing technology stacks, measurement needs, and activation objectives.
• Propose implementation strategies for technologies such as pixels, APIs, server-to-server integrations, identity solutions, offline conversion tracking, and measurement frameworks.
• Guide clients through onboarding and readiness processes, ensuring correct configuration of tracking, attribution, audience targeting, and reporting tools.
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges linked to implementation difficulties, signal integrity, campaign delivery, and performance measurement.
• Develop engaging demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical narratives showcasing the advantages of OpenAI's ad solutions.
• Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to escalate technical issues, represent customer priorities, and influence product development roadmaps.
• Create scalable technical documents, playbooks, and best practices to facilitate global advertiser adoption.
• Provide training to internal sales and customer success teams on technical integrations and evolving features.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of professional experience in roles such as solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical account management, adtech, martech, or similar client-facing technical positions.
• Proficient in digital advertising measurement techniques including pixels, conversion APIs, mobile measurement, identity management solutions, and CRM or data integrations.
• Strong familiarity with advertising ecosystems, encompassing tag management systems, customer data platforms (CDPs), analytics software, attribution technologies, and data storage solutions.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas to both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience writing SQL, working with APIs, troubleshooting technical implementations, and managing structured datasets.
• Adaptability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environments and contribute to the establishment of new processes from the ground up.
• Possess a strong sense of ownership, decisiveness, and empathy for customer needs.
• Commitment to ethical platform growth, maintaining user trust, and fostering long-term partner relationships.
