Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural innovation, making critical technical decisions that balance user needs, maintainability, system performance, and sustainability of the platform.
• Set and uphold rigorous standards for modern C++ development, UI framework architecture, code quality, security, performance, testing, and operational dependability.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design throughout the product lifecycle to convert customer requirements and market opportunities into strategic technical roadmaps.
• Manage complex feature delivery from concept to production by devising technical plans, decomposing tasks, mitigating risks, and facilitating smooth execution.
• Maintain hands-on involvement by contributing to key design activities, coding, conducting reviews, and resolving challenging engineering issues to exemplify team standards.
• Mentor and elevate the engineering team through code reviews, design discussions, technical leadership, and decisive guidance.
• Advocate and lead the ethical and effective integration of AI-assisted processes in design, development, testing, debugging, and analytics to enhance quality and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a technical leader or senior engineer with accountability for complex customer-facing software architecture and delivery, influencing broader technical direction.
• Expert proficiency in modern C++ and client application development encompassing architecture, concurrency, memory management, debugging, performance optimization, and code maintainability within extensive codebases.
• Proven skills designing and implementing advanced user interfaces using Qt/QML or similar native UI technologies, understanding responsive and accessible user experience principles.
• Systemic thinking capability to navigate multi-layer application platforms, analyze dependencies, and balance delivery speed against quality, reliability, and long-term codebase health.
• Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and align cross-disciplinary teams and senior stakeholders toward shared objectives.
• Strong sense of ownership demonstrated by utilizing customer feedback and production metrics to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements.
• Commitment to mentorship with a record of enhancing team technical expertise through coaching and leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience, paired with 10+ years of professional software development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cross-platform C++ client application development and optimization across Windows and macOS, including native platform integration and platform-specific debugging.
• Broad technical expertise including modern C++, Qt/QML, Windows or Apple native frameworks, and scripting languages like Python for automation and tooling; familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java advantageous for mobile client development.
• Proven ability in scaling and evolving large, enduring client codebases, shared libraries, or SDKs while managing compatibility, technical debt, performance, and ongoing modernization.
• Expertise in quality assurance and automation technologies encompassing CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration tests, UI automation, diagnostics, observability, and robust client build/release mechanisms.
• Competence in data-driven engineering applying telemetry, crash analytics, performance monitoring, and customer insights to guide engineering priorities and measure improvements.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools within architecture exploration, code implementation, refactoring, test generation, debugging, or engineering analysis to produce secure, validated, production-level outcomes.
