Key Responsibilities

• Lead multifaceted technical projects involving numerous engineers to successful completion.
• Define team objectives related to project impact, product quality, and engineering efficiency.
• Manage significant initiatives, coordinate teams, oversee rollouts, and implement phased releases.
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate innovations mutually.
• Proactively identify and implement necessary improvements within assigned codebases, product domains, and systems.
• Evaluate and enhance system resource efficiency, scalability, and stability.
• Design fundamental software components and platforms.
• Perform design and code assessments.
• Support new team members through onboarding, mentorship, and facilitating effective codebase ramp-up.
• Develop code primarily using C, C++, and Python.

Minimum Qualifications

• Over eight years of programming experience in relevant languages.
• Proven leadership in guiding major initiatives and teams.
• More than six years of relevant experience developing large-scale infrastructure or similar applications.
• Skilled in improving quality via thorough code reviews, appropriate testing, meticulous rollout, monitoring, and proactive modification.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline or practical experience.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Hack.
• Track record of delivering high-quality work and maintaining high reliability.
• Ability to leverage data and analysis for elucidating technical issues and providing comprehensive feedback and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages including C, C++, and Java.
• Proven ability to incorporate AI technologies to improve workflows and drive measurable outcomes such as efficiency and quality gains.
• Knowledge and adherence to responsible, ethical AI principles including risk assessment, bias reduction, and quality assurance.
• Active engagement in AI skills development like prompt engineering and agent orchestration, keeping abreast of emerging AI advancements.
