Position Overview
Xerox's subsidiary, Lexmark International India Pvt. Ltd., is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their innovative team. The selected candidate will manage the design, development, and maintenance of sophisticated software solutions, actively participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, testing, and deployment of scalable, high-performance software applications.
- Work collaboratively with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to convert business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
- Produce clean, efficient, and thoroughly documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
- Engage in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback, ensuring overall code quality.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex software issues promptly and efficiently.
- Contribute to architectural planning and decision-making that influence future software product directions.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to evaluate their relevance and application.
- Ensure developed software is secure, reliable, and maintainable.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile/Scrum team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Five to eight years of professional experience in software development.
- Expertise in C, C++, Win32, or C#, .NET frameworks.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience working in software development models such as Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and critical reasoning skills.
- Domain knowledge in printing and imaging technologies is a beneficial plus.
