Your Contributions
- Assume full responsibility for managing our Binary Repository Management Service (JFrog Platform), ensuring its high availability, optimal performance, security, and compliance.
- Operate, maintain, and enhance our Kubernetes-based infrastructure, including highly available multi-node setups for critical business services.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform/Tofu, enabling reproducible, scalable, and auditable deployments.
- Develop and refine comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions utilizing the Grafana toolchain (Prometheus, Loki, Alertmanager, Grafana), including metrics, dashboards, and alerting systems.
- Integrate the binary repository deeply into our CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins), optimizing repository structures, storage, and cleanup policies while collaborating closely with development, security, and platform teams on automation and reliability improvements.
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering with proven responsibility for productive binary repository management systems in enterprise environments.
- A strong academic background with a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related STEM field, ideally with excellent academic achievements.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, mainly High-Availability and multi-node setups, Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform/Tofu, Linux administration, network management, and reverse proxy configurations (such as Nginx, HAProxy, Traefik).
- Expertise in monitoring and observability using the Grafana ecosystem; experience with the JFrog Platform, OpenStack, CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) is advantageous.
- Fluent verbal and written skills in both German and English to communicate confidently in an international and technical environment.
- A strong sense of ownership with a structured, analytical approach to work, excellent service orientation, communication and teamwork skills, plus a proactive, solution- and automation-focused mindset.
