Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory movements across projects with precise documentation and adherence to procedures, ensuring system records align with actual materials movement and investigating any discrepancies through root cause analysis.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts, reducing variances, and verifying material availability according to established inventory cycles and company policies.
- Support production operations by delivering parts to the production floor, preparing kits for jobs, organizing materials efficiently, and facilitating timely access to components for CNC operators.
- Use the ERP system to accurately record all inventory transactions and maintain current data.
- Assist with comprehensive annual inventory planning and help manage surplus materials and scrap disposition efficiently.
- Provide general warehouse support, including receiving shipments, unloading deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, and managing lot pickups.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling of materials.
- Compliance with safety-sensitive work requirements, including participation in drug and alcohol programs.
- Preferred: forklift operation experience and familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
