Factory Supervisor

Key Duties

The Factory Supervisor will oversee and manage all on-site laborers and workers throughout the plant installation phase, ensuring smooth daily operations and consistent progress.

• Assign daily responsibilities to labor teams to maintain efficient workflows.
• Track attendance, punctuality, and performance of workers.
• Enforce strict site discipline and ensure compliance with basic safety protocols such as wearing helmets and PPE.
• Address and resolve minor interpersonal issues among staff promptly.

Inventory and Material Oversight

• Supervise the receiving, counting, and proper storage of all incoming plant materials and equipment.
• Keep detailed records of materials issued to workers and technicians, including registers and ledgers.
• Perform regular physical checks of stored inventory on site.
• Report immediately any material shortages, damages, or losses to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storage area at the site.

Site Support Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between management, engineers, and the labor workforce.
• Ensure the site is kept clean and good housekeeping practices are observed.
• Assist in coordination and execution tasks related to installation progress.

Candidate Requirements

• Age should be below 30 years.
• Possess 1 to 3 years of demonstrated experience in labor supervision, site management, or store/inventory handling.
• Educational background preferred includes ITI, diploma, or a relevant technical or non-technical bachelor's degree.
• Preference for unmarried or single candidates to facilitate easier relocation and mobility.
• Strong leadership capabilities paired with effective communication skills—proficiency in the local language is essential.
• Problem-solving aptitude along with qualities such as honesty, dependability, and proactiveness.
• Ability to withstand long working hours on industrial sites.
• Local residency in Guma or nearby areas is preferred.

मुख्य जिम्मेदारियाँ एवं आवश्यकताएँ

• संयंत्र स्थापना के दौरान श्रमिकों का सीधे प्रबंधन और संचालन करना।
• दैनिक कार्य आवंटन, उपस्थिति निगरानी, श्रम अनुशासन बनाए रखना।
• माल और भंडारण का नियंत्रण, नियमित जांच एवं साफ-सफाई सुनिश्चित करना।
• प्रबंधन तथा इंजीनियरों के साथ सहयोग करना।
• आयु ३० वर्ष से कम, १-३ वर्षों का अनुभव आवश्यक।
• ITI, डिप्लोमा या समकक्ष डिग्री होना व स्थानीय भाषाओं की अच्छी समझ आवश्यक।
• ईमानदार, विश्वसनीय, सक्रिय, और लंबी अवधि तक काम करने की क्षमता।
• स्थानीय निवासी (गुमा) और अविवाहित उम्मीदवार वांछनीय।
