Job description

Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned ERP Program Manager to oversee a comprehensive Oracle Fusion ERP implementation for a top Oil & Gas Drilling firm based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role involves serving as an autonomous PMO representative responsible for ensuring governance, managing stakeholders, mitigating risks, and monitoring delivery through the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire Oracle Fusion ERP implementation program end-to-end.
  • Set up and manage PMO methodologies, project controls, reporting systems, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with business units, implementation partners, system integrators, and executive leadership.
  • Track and control project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Lead steering committee meetings and prepare executive-level status updates.
  • Align project outcomes with the business goals and objectives.
  • Handle change control processes, resolving issues, and managing escalations.
  • Ensure program quality, compliance, and a smooth transition to business operations.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Proven track record managing a minimum of three to four significant Oracle ERP/Fusion implementations.
  • Experience as an independent PMO or Program Manager from the client perspective.
  • Deep expertise in program governance, stakeholder relationship management, and ERP transformation projects.
  • Successful management of complex enterprise-wide ERP initiatives.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, PgMP, or ITIL relevant to service-based projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background within the Energy & Utilities industry.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas sectors, especially drilling operations.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco’s cultural, governance, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Familiarity with working in GCC countries, preferably Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong communication abilities and skills managing executive-level stakeholders.
