We are currently searching for a highly skilled Contracts Lead to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focused on managing contract activities for airfield and airport infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, evaluate, and issue precise contractual letters, notices, claims correspondence, and responses.
• Convert on-site construction challenges such as delays, disruptions, and technical issues into formal contract documents.
• Maintain contractual clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all communications.
• Keep organized records of correspondence and ensure timely replies to contractual notices.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of daily construction activities including airfield works, fencing, utilities, access roads, and operational constraints at airports.
• Address project disturbances and site complications through correct contractual procedures (notices, instructions, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to document issues accurately in contractual form.
• Support contract execution, compliance monitoring, and administration for multiple contract packages.
• Track and manage contractual commitments, key milestones, and deliverables.
• Assist in handling contract variations, claims, and change events with robust documentation.
• Serve as a communication point between contractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams on contractual matters.
• Participate actively in coordination meetings and ensure outcomes are documented contractually.
• Support negotiation proceedings with well-prepared written positions and responses.
• Ensure that all contractual communications adhere to project guidelines and contract frameworks.
• Maintain audit-ready records and correspondence for accountability purposes.
• Align contractual actions with established contract forms and governance standards.
• Mentor junior team members in reviewing and drafting contractual correspondence.
• Standardize communication styles and interpretations of contractual language within the team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CPCM or CCM are advantageous.
• At least 10 years of experience managing contracts, especially within infrastructure, civil engineering, or airport-related projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, administration, and risk management.
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder, large-scale projects.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Familiarity with international contract standards and frameworks, including FIDIC and NEC contract forms.
• In-depth understanding of airport or aviation project procurement, operational, and compliance protocols.
• Capability to handle several high-value contracts concurrently.
• Strong commercial insight with an emphasis on risk control and business results.
• Proven experience in dispute resolution and claims handling.
