Cargo Handler

Job Overview

This role involves handling cargo by loading and unloading freight, scanning and sorting packages within the facility, and transporting cargo internally and between facilities. The position requires following FedEx Canada's operational protocols and adhering to Canadian customs regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of secondary education or GED is preferred.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs rules is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication.
• Ability to successfully complete all foundational and periodic training programs.
• Physically able to lift 70 pounds and manipulate packages up to 150 pounds using appropriate equipment.
• Must hold a valid full driver's license with a clean driving record.

Working Hours and Conditions

• Hiring for two part-time package handlers.
• Full Class G driver's license required.
• Work five days per week during AM shifts: Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off.
• Shift hours: 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
