Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership by example, mentoring and motivating your team members.
• Assist the Store Manager in coaching and developing team skills and knowledge.
• Consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences through hands-on leadership.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture to ensure a secure work environment.
• Support accurate stock management and enforce adherence to stock integrity processes.
• Help manage visual merchandising to uphold high display standards.
• Keep abreast of current pet care knowledge, products, and services, showing initiative in updating your expertise.
• Recruit, onboard, and effectively integrate new high-quality team members.
• Create an enjoyable and supportive environment fostering a positive in-store culture.
• Proactively engage in local marketing activities and community sponsorships.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in a comparable store leadership role.
• Proven ambition to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Strong leadership qualities with capability to build motivated, high-performing teams and nurture a positive workplace atmosphere.
• Excellent prioritization skills to manage competing demands and ensure timely task completion.
