Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership by example, mentoring and motivating your team members.
- Assist the Store Manager in coaching and developing team skills and knowledge.
- Consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences through hands-on leadership.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture to ensure a secure work environment.
- Support accurate stock management and enforce adherence to stock integrity processes.
- Help manage visual merchandising to uphold high display standards.
- Keep abreast of current pet care knowledge, products, and services, showing initiative in updating your expertise.
- Recruit, onboard, and effectively integrate new high-quality team members.
- Create an enjoyable and supportive environment fostering a positive in-store culture.
- Proactively engage in local marketing activities and community sponsorships.
Required Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a comparable store leadership role.
- Proven ambition to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Strong leadership qualities with capability to build motivated, high-performing teams and nurture a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Excellent prioritization skills to manage competing demands and ensure timely task completion.
- Commitment to uphold workplace health and safety standards.
- Solid business understanding and acumen.
- Adaptability to dynamic work environments.
- Effective interpersonal abilities to develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
