Characterising CAR-T Cells for solid tumour treatmentHuman and animal cell culture, Flow cytometry, Immunophenotyping, Western blotting, Live-cell EVOS microscopy, Antibody fluorescent staining, FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, R, BioRender, Microsoft Office
Conducting full-time translational research at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital within a multidisciplinary clinical team. Work spans ethics protocol review, SOP compliance, and collaborative manuscript development alongside experimental research involving human and animal cell culture, flow cytometry, immunophenotyping, western blotting, and live-cell EVOS microscopy. Data analysis and visualisation using GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, R, and BioRender. Presenting findings regularly to clinical and scientific stakeholders. Simultaneously reviewing clinical trial protocols and engaging with investigators across neuroimaging and neuromodulation programmes through bioscience venture analysis work.

Anti-apoptotic effects of a natural compound on cervical cancerHeLa cell culture, MTT assay, Apoptosis assay, Scratch wound healing assay, GraphPad Prism, R, Jamovi, BioRender, Microsoft Office
Investigated the anti-apoptotic effects of Diosgenin on cervical cancer using HeLa cell lines. Conducted a range of in-vitro assays including MTT viability assays, apoptosis assays, and scratch wound healing assays to assess cell behaviour under treatment conditions. Managed full experimental design, data collection, and quantitative analysis independently, receiving the Best Dissertation Award upon completion.

Identifying synergistic properties of chemotherapeutic drugs for glioblastoma treatmentGBM cell line culture (U87/CT2A), Combinatorial drug synergy (TMZ, SN-38, carboplatin), MTT viability assay, Drug synergy analysis, SynergyFinder, Chou-Talalay CI calculations, GraphPad Prism, R, BioRender, Microsoft Office
Investigating combinatorial drug synergy in glioblastoma using U87 and CT2A cell lines, testing TMZ, SN-38, and carboplatin in combination to identify synergistic treatment regimens. Experimental work includes MTT viability assays, drug synergy analysis using SynergyFinder, and Chou-Talalay combination index calculations. Findings presented to multidisciplinary research group at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital.
