Warehouse Labourer

Role overview

Your Retreats Ltd is looking for a dependable Warehouse Labourer with a valid Forklift Truck licence to support the day-to-day running of its warehouse. The position focuses on keeping the workspace clean, safe, and well organised while helping handle materials used in construction projects for park and luxury lodges.

What you will do

• Keep the warehouse and factory areas clean, orderly, and safe.
• Clean production spaces and warehouse zones, including work areas, walkways, and storage sections.
• Receive deliveries, unload goods, and place stock and materials in the correct locations.
• Pick and ready materials for dispatch to production or site teams.
• Use a forklift truck carefully and safely to move stock, equipment, and materials.
• Load and unload vehicles when needed.
• Carry out stock counts and flag any differences or shortages.
• Remove waste and ensure it is disposed of properly.
• Follow health and safety rules and internal procedures at all times.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager and team with general labouring and warehouse tasks as required.

What is needed

• A valid FLT licence, with counterbalance certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, factory, or construction setting.
• A practical, proactive attitude toward housekeeping and keeping areas tidy.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational ability.
• Comfort working alone as well as within a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
