The company is looking for someone who can help shape how developers use 1Password across the workflows that matter most to them.
Role Overview
As a Staff Product Manager, you will work closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market leadership to define product direction, prioritize initiatives, and deliver a strong developer experience. You will also help influence cross-company strategy and execution, especially for developer tools and related enterprise offerings. The role requires balancing long-term planning with immediate execution while keeping customer needs, business outcomes, and technical constraints in view.
Responsibilities

- Partner with engineering leadership to define the order of work and deliver major parts of Unified Access.
- Contribute to company-wide strategy and execution for developer tools and Developer Watchtower within EPM.
- Lead prioritization on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for a fast-moving product area.
- Use discovery, product requirement documents, product framing documents, and feedback loops to keep customer needs central to decision-making.
- Work alongside a junior product manager in a related team and help strengthen product craft across the broader org.
- Define and maintain success metrics, including measures tied to ARR contribution and customer impact.
- Represent the product externally in conversations with enterprise customer executives and act as a credible voice for the Unified Access vision.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of product management experience, with proven ownership of developer-facing or platform products.
- Strong knowledge of how developers work, the tools they use, and the security and access problems they face in modern engineering teams.
- Experience building and executing roadmaps for complex cross-functional initiatives in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Background contributing to company-wide product vision across multiple engineering teams and product areas.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to create PRDs, PRFAQs, and similar structured documents.
- Ability to think in terms of an 18–24 month horizon while still driving short-term progress.
- Experience speaking with customer executives and representing a product area at an executive level.
- Strong customer focus, backed by both qualitative and quantitative inputs for prioritization.
- Experience defining OKRs, success metrics, and measurement systems that link product outcomes to business results.
- Comfort working in a high-growth, collaborative, and fast-moving environment.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to developer security tools, secrets management, or enterprise developer platforms.
- Experience with enterprise password management, device trust, or identity and access management in developer settings.
What Success Looks Like
