What the role involves

• Carry out scheduled audits of factory operations, with emphasis on supply chain, engineering, and quality activities.
• Evaluate processes and day-to-day practices independently to check alignment with SOPs and company standards.
• Deliver unbiased assessments of how effectively operations are functioning.
• Pull reports from internal systems and analyze the data for performance review.
• Compare operational results against SOP requirements and benchmark expectations.
• Rate factories and warehouses using compliance and performance indicators.
• Call out gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities through clear reporting.
• Visit sites regularly to cover approximately 5 internal manufacturing facilities and about 10 external warehouses or godowns.
• Ensure each factory is visited at least once every quarter.
• Maintain strong audit coverage so governance oversight remains continuous.
• Serve as an independent reviewer, separate from the factory teams, to improve transparency and trust in assessments.
• Give leadership confidence in the accuracy, compliance, and strength of factory operations.
• Help reinforce internal controls through objective verification.
• Advise factories on better practices and correct ways of working.
• Assist sites in resolving operational ambiguity and capability gaps.
• Work with stakeholders to improve standardization and drive ongoing enhancements across locations.
