Job description
Role Purpose
As a Shift Manager at Checkers & Rally’s, you will play a vital role within the Corporate Field Operations team by supporting the General Manager in successfully running shifts. This involves achieving sales and profit targets, implementing procedures effectively, and delivering outstanding service to both guests and team members. You will contribute to maintaining the restaurant as the top choice for customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and profitability through enhancing guest satisfaction and overseeing restaurant daily operations.
- Communicate any issues or suggestions concerning the restaurant, employees, or guests promptly to the General Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures during shifts.
- Train team members on company standards, operational policies, and providing excellent guest service.
- Address complaints and identify violations of policies or procedures effectively.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable workplace environment for employees and guests.
Required Skills & Experience
- Possess 1 to 2 years of management experience in restaurant environments, preferably within Quick Service Restaurants.
- Have fundamental math skills needed for operational tasks.
- Ability to work variable schedules including extended hours.
- Energetic, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
