Senior Java Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team based in Doha, Qatar, working onsite. This position involves developing robust and scalable enterprise-level software solutions that directly contribute to our clients' digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will focus on delivering high-quality applications aligned with business goals and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications tailored to business objectives.
• Implement software solutions leveraging Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and OpenAPI frameworks.
• Apply microservices architectural approaches and integrate cloud computing principles.
• Maintain high standards of code quality through automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Work collaboratively with senior engineers to define and enforce coding conventions and quality standards.
• Diagnose and enhance application performance to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of system components.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in developing, testing, and deploying Java applications.
• Strong expertise in modular Java web application development using Spring Boot, REST architecture, and OpenAPI specifications.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies emphasizing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within team environments.
• Fluency in English language.
