About the Role

This opportunity is with Mercor, a company that connects highly skilled creative and technical professionals with top AI research teams. The organization is based in San Francisco and is backed by investors such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.

The position is for an Education / School Evaluator working remotely on a contract basis, with compensation set at $80–$120 per hour.

What You’ll Do

Review AI-created materials using subject-specific quality standards.
Spot factual mistakes, visual issues, and presentation problems across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
Write clear, organized feedback that helps improve model outputs.
Use strong domain knowledge to assess accuracy and depth of responses.
Work independently and on an asynchronous schedule while still meeting deadlines and quality expectations.

Required Background

You should have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Education / school.
Strong command of English, either native-level or professional fluency, is required.
You must be highly comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with particular strength in Slides.

Preferred Profile

An advanced degree such as a Master's degree or higher from a well-regarded institution is preferred.
