Role overview
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer who can build and evolve automated test coverage for software products. This role focuses on creating reliable test frameworks, improving test efficiency, and supporting product quality across the development lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Build and implement automated test cases for intricate software platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand, organize, and prioritize testing needs.
- Create and update automation scripts using programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Wire automated checks into CI/CD workflows so releases can move smoothly.
- Review test outcomes, identify issues, and communicate defects to the engineering team.
- Keep refining automation practices to make testing faster and more effective.
Technical focus
The role calls for strong hands-on coding ability and practical experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, along with testing tools such as TestCafe, Mocha, and Chai. Exposure to APIs or microservices and familiarity with CI/CD practices are also important.
Experience and notice period
Candidates should bring 6 to 7+ years of relevant experience. The expected notice period is immediate to 15 days.
