Role overview
This position supports project teams by gathering, arranging, examining, and explaining data to strengthen project planning, delivery, and overall outcomes. The role focuses on turning project information into practical insights that help teams make better decisions and improve performance.
Core focus areas
You will help create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that highlight important details for stakeholders, including timelines, budgets, staffing, risks, and key performance indicators. The role also involves tracking project metrics, spotting patterns, reviewing results, and suggesting ways to streamline processes and improve operations.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and interpret project-related data to support planning and execution.
- Build and update reports, dashboards, and visual summaries for stakeholder use.
- Monitor project indicators and performance measures to identify trends and issues.
- Support forecasting, performance monitoring, and validation of project information.
- Check data for accuracy, consistency, and reliability before reporting it.
- Work with project managers and other teams to support data-led decisions.
- Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, process quality, and project delivery.
Qualifications and skills
The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and strong analytical ability. Success in this role depends on careful attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines at once. Experience with spreadsheets, reporting software, visualization tools, SQL, database concepts, statistical methods, project measurement, and business reporting is beneficial. Familiarity with forecasting, process improvement, project management, business intelligence, and performance analytics is also valuable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Additional requirements
This role calls for strong critical thinking, problem-solving, presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex findings in a way that works for both technical and non-technical audiences.
