About the role

The Operations team in Ghana is accountable for strategy, marketplace performance, and growth. As Operations Manager, you will play a hands-on role in local execution, with ownership of driver growth, fleet partnerships, vehicle compliance, and market expansion. You will coordinate cross-functional work and partner with headquarters stakeholders to help make transport in Ghana more sustainable, accessible, and affordable.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Lead Bolt’s operations strategy in Ghana, with emphasis on fleet performance, marketplace health, and supply engagement.
• Manage the full driver acquisition funnel from lead generation to activation and retention, delivering steady net activation growth with efficient spend and smooth onboarding.
• Develop and strengthen fleet partnerships by expanding dependable multi-vehicle supply and increasing fleet contribution to GMV through disciplined B2B acquisition and account management.
• Own the onboarding, inspection, branding, and compliance process for vehicles, maintaining accurate tagging, strong category fit, and alignment with operational standards.
• Review operational data and local market trends to identify growth opportunities and friction points, then turn insights into practical actions.
• Plan and launch growth campaigns tailored to Ghana, monitor KPIs, and keep improving operational processes.

About you

• You bring at least 7 years of experience in Operations, Startups, Strategy Consulting, Mobility, Logistics, or a closely related area.
• You are highly analytical, comfortable using data to guide decisions, and proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
• You are willing to get involved in practical work when needed and are not limited to desk-based tasks.
• You communicate well in English and collaborate effectively with others.
• You approach problems creatively and look for efficient solutions in a fast-moving environment.
• You are customer-focused and motivated to strengthen Bolt’s value proposition while supporting supply growth.
• You work well with cross-functional partners such as Product, Legal, Central Operations, and Marketing to deliver strategic priorities.
