Role Summary

This position is for a Manager in the Audit & Assurance function based in Chennai. The selected candidate is expected to join immediately and should be comfortable with travel for around 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

• Build a solid understanding of different business processes and operating procedures.
• Work with internal teams as well as external sources to gather the information needed to spot and prevent discrepancies.
• Use research and analytical abilities across assignments, including database research, examination of financial statements, and review of emails and documents.
• Study data carefully, communicate observations to the wider team, and interpret how findings affect financial analysis.
• Identify patterns, gaps, and trends across data and supporting documents through an analytical approach.
• Compile observations and conclusions in a clear and organized format.

Profile Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Prior exposure to Statutory Audit and/or Internal Audit assignments is required.
• Good command over IT tools along with strong analytical capability.
• Must demonstrate a structured approach to problem-solving and an analytical way of thinking.
