Role Overview

This position is for a Lead Engineer working on Windows-based desktop software using C++ and C#.NET. The role involves contributing to new product introductions, enhancing installed-base releases, and supporting pre-NPI or advanced development efforts. The engineer is expected to work across design, development, analysis, and technical coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of NPI programs, installed-base updates, and advanced development work.
• Review current implementations and modify components to align with changing business needs.
• Design modules and sub-systems at the component level.
• Develop components, modules, and sub-systems as an individual contributor.
• Act as a technical specialist by reviewing deliverables and guiding others in the relevant functional area.
• Interpret functional requirements and translate them into workable technical understanding.
• Handle technical communication with customers.

Required Experience and Skills

• Practical, hands-on development experience in Windows desktop applications using C++ and C#.NET.
• Exposure to the healthcare imaging domain.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and object-oriented design principles.
• Solid experience with multithreaded programming.
• Ability to compare technical alternatives and select the most suitable approach.
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
• Good testing and debugging skills.
• Working knowledge of healthcare-related imaging, workflows, integration, and verification.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and take initiative.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Exposure to the software development lifecycle, preferably in a SAFe Agile delivery environment.

Additional Information

The role is open to any graduate candidate. The listed compensation is INR 10,00,000 to INR 20,00,000 per year. No additional benefits were specified.
