Job Summary

Network Next Gen is hiring a Junior Interior Designer for its Nashville office. The role supports the creation of imaginative, practical, and welcoming senior living environments as part of a collaborative design team.

What You’ll Do

  • Support project designers through all major phases, including client programming, concept creation, schematic design, design development, space planning, construction documentation, and project closeout.
  • Help evaluate and present furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment, FF&E, color schemes, and lighting selections while staying within budget.
  • Prepare finish plans, specifications, and material schedules needed for construction.
  • Provide design documentation and coordination support through the implementation of approved concepts.
  • Coordinate with outside consultants, product vendors, furniture suppliers, and fabricators.
  • Contribute to process development and continuous improvement using industry best practices.
  • Create design boards as well as 2D and 3D renderings.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering client presentations.
  • Help keep sample materials organized and maintained with the team.
  • Support filing, archiving, and overall project organization.
  • Work to deadlines efficiently and manage project schedules carefully.
  • Represent the organization professionally at all times.
  • Protect confidential information related to interior design work and architectural product developments.
  • Assist with marketing collateral for project proposals and presentations when project workload allows.
  • Show strong leadership, organizational ability, communication skills, and relationship management capability.
  • Be willing to travel as needed, including some in-state and out-of-state trips.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program is required.
  • Strong graphic presentation ability is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Experience with 3D Studio Max is a plus.
  • LEED accreditation is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in senior living projects is also considered a plus.
