Role overviewJSW Sports Pvt Ltd is hiring an HR Business Partner for the Inspire Institute of Sport in Vijayanagar, Bellary, Karnataka. This position is responsible for combining strategic HR support with day-to-day people operations, ensuring that workforce practices stay aligned with business priorities.What the role involvesOversee the full employee journey, from hiring and onboarding through performance management, engagement, career growth, and exit formalities.Work closely with business leaders to understand staffing needs and shape HR support that helps achieve organizational goals.Lead initiatives around performance reviews, talent evaluation, succession planning, and employee development.Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary cases, and workplace conflict resolution.Make sure HR policies, labor law requirements, and internal governance standards are consistently followed.Track engagement and retention trends, then design actions that improve culture and the overall employee experience.Review HR data and metrics to support workforce planning and informed business decisions.Assist with organizational change efforts and broader transformation programs.Qualifications and experienceA bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.Applicants should have 5 to 10 years of HR experience, including work in business partnering and end-to-end employee lifecycle management.Strong capabilities in stakeholder management, communication, and practical problem-solving are essential.A solid understanding of labor laws and established HR practices is expected.Key competenciesCommercial and business understandingStakeholder managementEmployee relations handlingTalent managementProblem-solving abilityCommunication and influencing skillsData-led decision making
