Role Overview

This position calls for an ERP Technical Architect to own the integration architecture across SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and multiple ERP ecosystems. The role requires designing and governing technical standards, guiding workstream teams, and ensuring the solution remains aligned with clean-core principles, approved middleware patterns, and enterprise integration best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect the end-to-end integration landscape connecting SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud with QAD, Microsoft Business Central, and Syteline at the same time.
• Set the integration approach, including API specifications, message structures, and data-flow documentation for all 15 workstreams.
• Own the Week 4 design approval milestone and formally finalize the integration design document.
• Define and enforce clean-core rules for all S/4HANA integration objects in line with SAP Activate guidance.
• Direct middleware decisions, using SAP CPI for S/4-facing integrations and Boomi for SFDC, Hybris, Akeneo, and returns-related flows.
• Validate EDI designs across X12 850, 855, 856, 810, and 860 transactions for all three ERP platforms.
• Provide architectural review and approval before SIT entry and before regression testing begins.
• Remove technical roadblocks and settle design conflicts across teams and workstreams.
• Prepare architecture runbooks for inclusion in the Week 18 handover package.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in SAP integration architecture, including work with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Practical experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration or SAP Integration Suite.
• Strong command over Boomi AtomSphere, including process design, connector setup, and governance practices.
• Advanced knowledge of EDI X12 standards, especially 850, 855, 856, 810, and 860, along with VAN connectivity.
• Experience connecting SAP with at least two of the following: QAD, Microsoft Business Central, and Infor Syteline.
• Capability to create formal architecture deliverables such as ADRs, sequence diagrams, and interface catalogs.
• Hands-on familiarity with SAP Activate and clean-core extension concepts.
• Ability to join immediately.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Integration Suite or SAP CPI certification is an advantage.
• Exposure to Akeneo PIM and SAP Hybris B2B commerce platforms.
• Previous experience in M&A integration architecture across mixed ERP environments.
• TOGAF or an equivalent enterprise architecture credential is preferred.
